My Redemptive Run (Back on Track After 2 Years)

The end side street in my neighborhood. Yeah, the one I haven’t run to in over two years! (Until today.)

Before the pandemic, I started training to run a 5k. In fact, I wrote about this experience here.

At the time, I was 37 and hadn’t run for years, even though I used to be a fitness obsessed D1 athlete.

But life happened. Marriage, kids, a dog, the whole shebang, and running got pushed off my list.
