We March On

A poem about moving forward.

When thick mud surrounds our legs and sinks into our boots, We March on.

When the river meanders with no destination in sight, we March on.

When our necks feel the burden and can't shake the weight, we March on.

When the rain festers deep through our skin, chilling us to the bone, we March on.

When a few give up and stay lost along the way, we March on.

When the sun illuminates us so brightly, yet blurs our vision, we March on.

When we drop our compass and are left with only instinct, we March on.

When onlookers scream, their arms towering in the air, we March on.

When darkness comes, we surrender until the new day's light

then

We March On.

We MARCH on.

WE MARCH ON!
